This is a static website. It uses no cookies, no analytics or tracking services, and contains no contact forms. All fonts are hosted locally on the server; no fonts are loaded from external providers such as Google Fonts.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by goneo Internet GmbH, Kutzhof 15, 32423 Minden, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. When you access the website, the host automatically processes information transmitted by your browser (in particular your IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, browser type and operating system). This processing is technically necessary in order to deliver the website and ensure its stability and security.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with the host.

4. Embedded prayer times (Mawaqit)

On the "Prayer times" page we embed our mosque's current prayer times via an iframe from the Mawaqit service (mawaqit.net). When you open this page, your browser establishes a direct connection to Mawaqit's servers, which technically transmits your IP address to Mawaqit. We have no influence over the data processing that takes place there. Further information can be found in Mawaqit's privacy policy at mawaqit.net.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in displaying current, maintenance-free prayer times). If you do not wish this transmission to occur, please do not open the "Prayer times" page.

5. Embedded posts from Instagram and Facebook (two-click solution)

Individual pages (e.g. news posts) may contain content from Instagram or Facebook (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland). This content is not loaded automatically. When you open the page, only a neutral notice card is shown at first; no data flows to Meta. Only when you actively click "Load post" does your browser establish a connection to Meta's servers. Data (including your IP address) is then transmitted to Meta; if you are logged in there, Meta may associate the access with your account.

The legal basis for loading is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Further information can be found in Meta's data policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

6. Embedded videos from YouTube (two-click solution)

The gallery may contain videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). These are not loaded automatically. At first only a neutral preview card is shown; no data flows to Google. Only when you actively click "Watch video" is the video loaded. Data (including your IP address) is then transmitted to Google. We use YouTube's enhanced privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which reduces the storage of cookies until playback.

The legal basis for loading is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

7. Live translation of the Friday sermon (Cloudflare)

At www.islamisches-zentrum-duesseldorf.de/live/ we offer a live text translation of the Friday sermon. Use is voluntary; only translation text is displayed – no image or sound recordings of visitors, no accounts, no cookies set by us.

Delivery is provided technically via a tunnel service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you access the page, Cloudflare, acting as a processor, processes technically necessary data, in particular your IP address as well as browser and connection data (server logs). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; EU standard contractual clauses apply in addition. Further information: Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing low-barrier access to the Friday sermon (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you wish to avoid the transfer to Cloudflare, please do not use the live translation – the sermon of course remains accessible on site.

8. Links to external services

This website contains links to external services, in particular to PayPal (donations), Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. These are simple links; no data is transmitted to these providers merely by visiting our website. The privacy policy of the respective provider only applies once you click such a link.

9. Donations by bank transfer

If you donate by bank transfer, we process the data associated with the transfer (name, IBAN, reference, amount) in order to process and record the donation and to issue donation receipts. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR as well as Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR in conjunction with tax retention obligations.

10. Contact by e-mail or telephone

If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, we process your details (name, contact data, content of the enquiry) solely in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). The data is deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
