Day of the Open Mosque on 3 October – both locations open
Dear neighbours, dear people of Düsseldorf,
on Saturday, 3 October 2026, German Unity Day, the nationwide Day of the Open Mosque takes place. We, the Islamic Center Düsseldorf e.V., warmly invite you and your family to visit us, to talk with us and to get to know Islam first hand.
So that you can gain as many insights as possible, we are opening the doors of both our locations on this day:
1. Worringer Straße Mosque – Worringer Str. 63, 40211 Düsseldorf
2. Im Liefeld Mosque – Im Liefeld 51, 40227 Düsseldorf
What awaits you – a programme for all generations:
Mosque tours and dialogue: Visit our prayer rooms. Members of our community will gladly answer all your questions about Islam, faith and daily life in the community.
Insights into school and children’s classes: See for yourself how our children learn. 3 October falls on a Saturday, and on Saturdays our Arabic school holds its regular lessons from 10 am to 4 pm anyway – so you have the rare chance to sit in on them and learn more about our educational work.
Together over coffee and cake: Enjoy free coffee, tea and a wide selection of homemade cakes over lively conversation in a relaxed atmosphere.
